"Easy Install - took about 1/2 hr by myself. Nothing to spectacular - it's a fuel door. Looks great, however - I thought this was a little pricey, again, it's just a fuel door, but I had to replace my original fuel door due to rust and i wanted to get a locking door so i figured why not go all out. I especially like the locking feature - very nice and keeps the thieves away.
Shipping took a little longer than expected, 1 whole week to snail mail it from CA (you'd figure for the price you could get it in 3-4 days) when i know ppl who've driven from VA to CA in 3 days, but whatever.
Bottom Line: i would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade/replace their fuel door. Thanks Autoanything!"

"Instructions were not very clear. Fit is not 100% flush with stock opening. Can't notice unless your like a foot away from it. Overall I'm satisfied with the product. ."

"Looks and works great. The aft tap ring took a little tweeking to get lined up but other than that it went in very nice. All the holes lined up great."

"my new fuel door is sick. It makes a huge difference on the aperrance of my truck. The first day i put it on 3 people told me how sick it looked. Its a little pricy but its worth it..."

"Definitely love the look of the door, only wish that I had gotten the glossy black/chrome version of it. The installation was tougher than expected due to the fact that you must drill out the rivets to remove the stock door. Other than that it looks great and I can lock up my gas tank from sipping thieves!"

"It was kind of trick to get the S clips in and the directions on the installation of it were not real clear on exactly which way they were clip on. They should be more "idiot" proof as they say. As far as the appearence of the door, I couldn't be happier. It really set makes a huge difference on the vehicle to class it up. I thought it was a little pricey, but I wanted it bad enough, so I got it. Someone who is on the fence, I would say will probably pass at that price.

"Overall I think the AMI Fuel Door is an improvement to my 2004 GMC. My only complaint about appearance is the finished installation is not flush. I tried to shim as instructed but that just makes the bottom stick out farther. As for installation, it would be nice to have the size of the bit included. I was lucky to have the correct one on had but if I would have needed a trip to the store I would probably need to buy two sizes just to be on the safe side."
